Pretty busy weekend we just had. Surprisingly though Oliver Stone’s Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps took the top spot. This is a good sign for movies, proves that solid acting and a good story beats out 3D. Since second place was where we found the owl movie from Zack Snider. In third was You Again which surprised me mainly because I thought this movie was going to rock the box office. Shows what I know. A lot of smaller movies opened rather well like Buried which made $100,000 and was only in 11 theaters, very impressive. The Virginity Hit on the other hand I guess proves that a viral campaign doesn’t always work as it failed to even make $500 dollars per theater and it was released in over 700 theaters… Ouch. The Town dropped to the third spot but did not loose a lot of its audience which is good to see since the movie rocked. Also to note Inception is still in the top 10. Very impressive Mr. Nolan now make Batman 3! Here is the list…

1. Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps $19 million

2. Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole(The Owl Movie) $16.3 million

3. The Town $16 million

6. Devil $6.5 million
